BST Hyde Park has been home to some of the most memorable live performances in London, and this year’s lineup proved no different. With a diverse mix of artists and genres, anticipation built steadily throughout the day. However, it was clear who the crowd had gathered for. As headliners, ATEEZ stepped onto the stage and instantly showed exactly why they’re such an incredible group to experience live.
Before their explosive set, the stage was built up by a variety of supporting acts. American-Australian group Midnight Til Morning opened the day, setting a tone for the festival atmosphere. FLO followed, delivering a standout vocal performance that highlighted their impressive harmonies. Bazzi brought a familiar energy with a selection of well-known tracks.
However, one of the most unforgettable moments of the supporting lineup came from Taemin. With his effortless charisma and stage presence, he delivered a flawless performance showcasing his incredible vocals and unique artistry. Tracks such as “Criminal,” “Move,” and “Advice” highlighted not only his signature style but also his undeniable influence as a performer. His stage presence was impossible to ignore, capturing the attention of the entire crowd and leaving a lasting impression ahead of the headline set.
Just two days prior to the festival, ATEEZ released their latest EP, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already highly anticipated performance. Opening with “Bouncy,” the group wasted no time in setting the tone for the night. Backed by a live band, the track was elevated to new heights, despite its already high-energy sound. From the very first moment both ATEEZ and the audience fed off each other’s energy, creating an atmosphere which would only grow stronger.
The momentum carried into a powerful run of tracks including “Say My Name,” “Work,” and “Shaboom.” Each performance showed just how in sync the group are, with choreography that was sharp, powerful, and impossible to look away from. “Work” in particular allowed for playful interaction with fans, bringing the group closer to the audience and strengthening the connection throughout the show. Meanwhile “Shaboom” stood out for its explosive choreography, amplified by the presence of the dance crew, BBTRIPPIN, who brought an extra layer of intensity to the performance.
As the evening softened into golden hour, the set transitioned into a brighter, more atmospheric segment. Tracks like “Lemon Drop” and “Arriba” brought a lighter, more playful energy, with the setting sun creating an even more memorable atmosphere.
One of the most notable highlights of the night came with the live debut of “Bad,” the title track from their newly released EP. Despite only being out for a matter of days, the performance felt confident and polished, making it difficult to believe it was such a recent addition to their setlist. The crowd responded immediately as the track begun.
The emotional core of the performance came with a beautifully moving section including “Wave,” “Choose,” “Now This House Ain’t a Home,” and “Enough.” As the sun was setting the atmosphere shifted dramatically, ATEEZ delivered these tracks with a sincerity that was felt within the crowd. “Choose,” in particular stood out as a special moment, with its lyrics feeling even more meaningful. It was a moment of stillness in the otherwise high-energy set.
ATEEZ are known for their ability to command a stage, and the final stretch was nothing short of explosive. “Adrenaline” and “Fireworks (I’m The One)” brought the energy back up, with fans jumping along and fully enjoying the excitement of the moment. The awaited performance of “Guerrilla” caused the crowd to reach its peak. The iconic “break the wall” chant echoed across Hyde Park, a powerful energy that represented the night. Closing with “The Real,” ATEEZ delivered a finale that felt celebratory. With bold visuals, and the support of BBTRIPPIN, the performance built to a defining final moment. The group and the dancers forming a circle on the stage which was a display of connection and teamwork and perfectly captured the passion behind their performance.
ATEEZ’s set at BST Hyde Park was a reminder of exactly why they are known as such incredible live performers. From powerful choreography and live instrumentation to the emotional moments shared with ATINY, every part of the performance felt carefully thought out and unforgettable. As the show came to an end, it was clear that ATEEZ had left a lasting impression on everyone that would stay with fans long after leaving Hyde Park.
