London welcomed Kang Yuchan and from20 with open arms as the BODY TALK European Tour arrived at Islington Assembly Hall on 23 July. The duo delivered a performance that effortlessly balanced slick choreography, live vocals and genuine fan interaction, creating an evening that felt both intimate and electrifying. The London date formed part of their six-city European run, following Paris and ahead of stops across Germany, Poland and Hungary.
From the moment the lights dimmed, the atmosphere inside the venue was electric. Fans filled the hall long before showtime, their excitement building with every passing minute. As the opening track kicked in, the crowd erupted, proving just how dedicated the UK’s WAY BETTER supporters have become.
“They created a god damn heatwave in the venue, and my ult bias from20 (Raehwan) finished me off by showing off his abs directly at face literally centimeters away. 10/10 would recommend 👌.”
-King (avid From20 fan)
One of the night’s biggest strengths was the chemistry between Kang Yuchan and from20. Their friendship translated naturally onto the stage, with playful interactions between songs contrasting perfectly with the intensity of their performances.
Whether performing together or taking centre stage individually, both artists showcased distinct styles that complemented each other throughout the set.
“it was an electric performance with an equally hyped crowd who have waited long for both from20 and kang yuchan. it felt like we were clubbing with them, the experience was surreal and wonderful”
-Saf (attendee of the London concert)
Musically, the concert moved seamlessly between high-energy dance tracks and more emotional moments. Powerful choreography was matched by confident vocals giving every song extra impact. Tracks from the BODY TALK era stood out as obvious crowd favourites, with fans singing nearly every lyric back to the duo. Featuring hit tracks such as “Big Boy”, and “Body Talk”, the setlist kept the London fans engaged throughout the entire show.
Kang Yuchan commanded the stage with charisma and precision, effortlessly switching between polished choreography and heartfelt vocal moments. His confidence has continued to grow as a solo performer, and London’s audience responded enthusiastically to every appearance.
From20, meanwhile, reminded everyone why he has built such a loyal international following. His stage presence is magnetic, blending smooth vocals with an unmistakable confidence that kept the audience engaged from start to finish. His interactions with fans felt genuine rather than rehearsed, making the performance feel even more personal.
A highlight moment of the night, came from a special performance by the Duo of a cover of “Human Nature” by Michael Jackson. This performance remains a stand out moment of the night, showcasing the artists ability to explore different genres throughout the night, particularly with this moment providing sweet melodies and captivating vocals.
A large focus of this tour was the concept of The Body Talk Hotel, this concept seperated the different layers to each section of the show, giving it a unique feel compared to other K-pop shows we have seen in London. One of the key “floors” of the Body Talk Hotel was the Party Floor which provided hype tracks and a rave-like feeling to the night. Islington Assembley Hall’s floors shook as fans jumped with all of their energy, putting everything they had into this segment of the show.
Beyond the music, the evening was filled with memorable fan moments. The pair frequently paused to speak with the audience, expressing gratitude for the warm reception in London and encouraging fans to continue supporting them throughout the tour. Those quieter conversations helped create an atmosphere that felt closer to a fan meeting than a traditional concert.
Visually, the production was full of intense strobe lights yet still keeping the focus firmly on the performers. Clever lighting, coordinated visuals and strong choreography ensured every song felt dynamic without overshadowing the artists themselves.
As the final songs approached, the energy somehow continued to rise. Fans sang at full volume, phones illuminated the venue and every final moment felt like a celebration of the growing relationship between Kang Yuchan, from20 and their European audience.
The BODY TALK Tour’s London stop proved that neither artist needs an arena-sized production to leave a lasting impression. Through exceptional performances, authentic fan engagement and undeniable chemistry, Kang Yuchan and from20 delivered one of the summer’s most memorable K-pop concerts. If this tour is any indication of what’s to come, their future in Europe looks incredibly bright.
